Your first visit to the fertility unit will usually involve a 30 minute discussion to find out more about you (and your partner). We will look at your investigations so far and we may recommend further tests that might be needed. We will look at the different fertility treatments available and determine your eligibility for NHS funded IVF. Patients are able to consider self-funded IVF (or intrauterine insemination) at any point during their fertility journey.
